THE GIRL UNDER THE BED - Nostalgicmiss

I took another deep breath, which only seemed to put him more on edge than he already was. This in itself was turning into a vicious cycle; both of us were making one another more nervous. I wasn't doing a good job of this at all. I had never in my life had to deal with something like this.
THE APPOINTMENT - Miztrezboo
"So, how are you really Jazzy?"
I stayed silent. Looking at nothing in particular, yet my eyes were still searching for something. My free hand ran through my curls, getting tangled in the sweaty mess my late afternoon run had left.
"Jazz. Is it getting too much for you? Is it making you want..."
"No!" cI cut her off. "No, never. I've done with that. I'll never go back. I couldn't do that Ali. Not to me, not to you, not to all the people I care about."
Jesus, did she really think it was this bad? Was I reacting in a way that would make her think I'd want to revisit that part of my life?
"Good. I mean I hated to ask that Jasper but I wouldn't be me if I didn't ask. I'd expect the same from you, you know. If the tables were turned." She sighed in what was most likely relief.
"I know. Thanks, Ali. You mean the world to me and just the fact that you asked, is enough."
We were both quiet, the seriousness of the moment we'd just had hanging heavily in the air between us.
"So, what are you going to do?" she asked, timidly.
"I don't know. I really -"
*bzzz bzzz*
"Um hold on, babe, that's the door. Probably the pizza I ordered."
My bare feet made little noise as I padded across the wooden floor. I grabbed my wallet off the side table and opened the door, already pulling the money out with one hand having tucked the phone under my right ear.
"Hi."
Definitely not the pizza.

There was no doubt that she would phase once her little one was born, and Embry was terribly excited to try…things with her when they were both in wolf form.
