Welcome to the first of our

"Big Wednesday Fic Review"
Wow.. ain't that a mouthful.

The premise behind today's post is that once a week, a member of the Four will read and review a fic that the other three have put up as a reccomendation to read. Kind of like, picking a story from out of a hat, but at least knowing that one of us likes it enough to Pimp it out. So stay tuned for more exciting Reviews.. but for now

Nostalgicmiss aka Le Big eLLe brings us...

As you all probably know, I love me some Jasper. It can be a curse and a blessing but I adore him. I was happy and very pleasantly surprised at picking a fic that starred him.

Starting out I was excited, and in some ways the fic started out very easily. Bella on the phone with her friend, a raging thunderstorm plaguing the Seattle skies. A knock at the door reveals Jasper, blond, wet, delicious.

Bella hangs up with Angela and although filled with trepidation, invites him in. There is a discomfort between them and I found myself almost immediately questioning it. Both seemed to remember a history that would almost seem impossible to most of us.

A broken relationship with Edward and a broken friendship with Alice. The kicker, she doesn't explain, and by the end of the chapter it drives you to click the little next chapter button that taunts you at the end of the page.

So far, there are only seven chapters, and each of them have been a small look into the life of Jasper. It's about Bella getting to know him, warts n all. I actually had a really hard time to stop reading, I couldn't put it down for a second and grew more and more excited with each little button indicating another chapter available.

Bella is intelligent and strong. She's level headed enough to really draw Jasper out from his shell. There are so many things right about this fic. The writing style, is just amazing. The author is able to really tune you into the inner workings of Bella's mind.

I was left with a substantial cliffhanger that actually made me groan.

I highly recommend reading this fic, even if you're a canon couple elitist there's no denying the friendship between the two characters. It just works and you can't help but hope that they will somehow save one another.

This is probably shorter than it should be, but with only seven chapters available I fear I would have to give away some plot points in order to really delve into this world.

Some questions are answered, others left unspoken . . . but one thing is for certain, I am awaiting the update with consternation.
