This story is dark and at times will be very painful. It's a story about a relationship between two men. While the story involves love, it's not necessarily a romance. It deals with some serious adult subject matter and sexual situations including male slash and threesomes, which may not always (or ever) be romantic. The characters are rude, they use crude and offensive language, and are anything but politically correct. The things they say are reflective of their fictional character views, not the views of the author. So if you don’t like it, chill out! It’s just a story. It’s not meant to offend anyone. The story will be entirely in Jasper's point of view. This is an alternative, all human universe, using Twilight characters that are acting completely out of character. Again, if this is not your thing, don’t read.
Intrigued yet? Good, you should be. When I picked this story up, I was excited to say the least. I’m a huge fan of HEA’s (happily ever after) in a story, but I didn’t let her warning stop me. Of all the possible pairings in the slash world, Edward and Jasper are my favorite.
Early on, we see the dynamic of Edward and Jasper’s relationship and how this affects them both. Being best friends, they seem to know everything about each other…or do they? What I love about this story is the unexpectedness of how the other Twilight characters show up. Some are obvious, while others take me by surprise. You never know when someone is going to appear in this story, and for that I’m grateful.
Now, just because Edward is straight and Jasper is not, does that mean there are no lemons? Certainly not! Even in chapter 1, we see a bit of something…but here is a little snippet of another chapter, just so you can see what you’re dealing with.
If he thought for one second I would be able to concentrate on any question as he wrapped his gorgeous lips around my rock hard dick, he was very much mistaken. All thoughts absolutely disappeared as every available milliliter of blood rushed from the rest of my body into my already engorged cock. So, does this have a HEA? I’m not saying, but I can say, I’ve put it in my favorites list and I would highly recommend this fic to anyone not just looking for something smutty but for something with sustenance. This story gives us both! Two thumbs way up.
